Have A Male X-Mas, Week 2 (English)

This week's edition of Have A Male X-Mas is a double-feature. By the way, do you enjoy this as much as I do?! For the German version of the entry, scroll down a bit. Here we go.

Remember, even no basics available.

I was warned. In a male single kitchen, there is no kitchen scale, no eggs, no oat meal and neither are there thousand other things. You can find pre-cut baking paper, about 25 different sorts of tea and five bottles of olive oil, which are a left-over from some tool time.
In this kitchen, DS and I were invited to do some baking and turning the whole place upside down. The result were yummie cupcakes and lots of cookies. Not as male as I thought they'd be, but nevertheless delicious and that's what it's all about, right?

For decoration crafts, it took some time to figure out what to do. It is a German tradition to light a candle on the four Sundays before Christmas, but it had to look cool and male.
I bought a light woollen material and pressed the seams. I then easily fixed them with fabric glue. Done. I didn't do anything about the edges, cause I liked that fringed look. I would have loved to add some ribbon with a "ho ho ho" print, but couldn't find some. That's why I went with the red and white squares.
Additionally, there are four candle holders in dark brown and light gold. There has to be some glitter on X-Mas, right? Like it?

What shall I tell you folks?! I am not at home most of the time. During the weeks, I eat at work, at the weekends I eat out, so there is unfortunately no realy need to keep things on storage. Poor single life! ;-)

So, it was fun, to turning my kitchen upside down, today. Really use it, for what I built it, and above all, doing it together with nice people. And that was not even it. All of that screwing up left we with nice biscuits and cupcakes. How great it that?

I am also thrilled about the glimps you are giving me here about the next item. Again, my style. I am really looking forward to the finale! :-)
